Sometimes you deserve what you ask for. Both sites could have co-existed, like so many other bands fan sites.
Huey Lewis has three or more other fan sites and they feed off of and to the official site. The synergistic balance of these sites gives Huey more of an awareness on the internet.

The Romantics need dozens of fan sites to generate and keep alive awareness for the group. As each day goes by, the band
loses a little more steam.
