I have to agree that the band doesn't seem to care. Any band looking for publicity would have had a PR person issue press releases saying that their new "album" is ready and they're looking for a label to sign with, or that the band was in negotiations with some labels to release what they've recorded. Look at all the publicity Mariah Carey got for getting dumped by her label!!!

This has got to be the worst case of a band not giving a damn about publicity, or there's some kind of gag order that's been slapped on the band and it's connections (Linda & Irene) in relation to some lawsuit.

I personally believe that a gag order is the reason, but I don't have any proof beyond my theory. I personally think Jimmy has something to do with this, but I'm open to anyone else's thoughts on the matter. Remember how quiet the band was when they were suing their former managers which prevented them from recording or releasing anything new back in the mid to late 80's? That's why songs like Hot & Bothered, Hypnotized, Tell Me I'm the One, Etc.. never made it on an album/CD when the band was still in everyone's memory. We didn't find out until the early 90's that any kind of legal action took place until long after it was settled.

Why should the band even tour if they're not going to release anything new? These guys might as well hook up with the "Wang Chung Has Beens of the 80's" tours that play State Fairs. They could come on and play "Talking in Your Sleep" And "What I Like About You" and then walk offstage to schmooze with the groupies.

The bottom line here is that these guys are not doing themselves any favors by not publicizing the fact that they are still together and creating new music. Are they expecting us to spread the word? If so, I'll be sending them my bill!
