If I had the answer to "When is the album coming out?" I'd be happy to tell you all but I don't know. I know how frustrating this is for everyone, me included, but, you have to understand they need to do what is best for them and those songs. Believe me the album does exist and they are actively talking with companies. That is the truth, and no it is not possible to give the names of those companies and run the risk of upsetting anything in process. No artist wants a deal with a label just to have their songs sit on a shelf and not see the light of day, distribution and air-play are a HUGE issue. Do you know what it takes to get a song played on radio? Songs don't just "appear" on a radio playlist and for that matter that don't stay on that playlist based solely on their listeners. Case in point...Mick Jagger (besides the fact that it isn't any good), just because he has past success, didn't guarantee him airplay...Rod Stewert is the same, how often do you hear his new stuff on heavy rotation, and without that you are probably not going to have a hit even if they are good songs. Jude Cole is a another great example here. That is why he no longer works on his own music, it got too frustrating. He decided to use that knowledge behind the scenes and look at the success of Lighthouse because he knew what had to be done to get and keep any success. You have to find the right company that knows how to work in a niche market and make it work for the band.
Whew...
I'm trying to help get Coz hooked back up to get in here but he was having trouble accessing the board last night and was not successful. We will keep working on it so he can talk with everyone.
