Ohh, here's my take. Buffy came back "twice" last year! Of course, she was resurrected in Bargaining (but as what?).

But she almost died (or did she, it sounded like she flat-lined) in Villains when Willow took out the bullet. It also seemed kinda of like Buffy was almost back to her normal self (heroic, like normal Buffy) afterwards.
