One of my friends that was missing finally reached me on weds. he had just been released from the hospital as he was in one of the towers, but is alive and well. He lost many from his firm, but i am glad he's okay. I still haven't found many others...but I still have hope. I went to the METS game lastnight and it was a beautiful ceremony. Many of us cried and hugged eachother eventhough we were strangers. Everyone held the American flag proudly. I recorded the telethon and it was beautiful. Today was the first time since the attack that i was on the Brooklyn bridge which runs along side Ground Zero. Traffice was slow and I started to get hot and cold flashes. My stomach twisted and knot formed in my throat. The sadness struck me hard and I felt as if I were in a funeral procession. All I could do was pray for the lives lost and in my mind I thought "I may not know all of you...but I love you and hope that wherever you are that you find peace."
