Hello everyone.
I was just watching Presidant Bush on the T.V. and I just wanted to say to everyone that my heart aches more now than ever before.
War scares me, not just because it's so violent, but because it just costs so much. I have to say that I am scared about the people who have and will be taken from this world. I haven't had to deal with that kind of loss very much in my life, I guess I'm lucky that way. But this really scares me. I can honestly say that I have never been so worried about people I don't even know. I'm not one for praying, but in these times I think that it is important. My heart and prayers go out to every person touched even remotely by these events.
I am also worried about those I do know. I know that this is very selfish, but I am. I don't want to lose those who are close to me. I have many friends who are a part of the Canadian Army who have been recalled. I'm worried about them. I am worried about my cousin David who is a Navy Captain for the US Navy and I'm also worried about Nora, and others that I know who are in the US military.
I don't really know why I'm saying all this to you guys. I think maybe because I need to say it to somebody and I feel like I can voice my fears and not feel embarassed about it.
