you could write a song about it and sing it like you're about to burst into tears because your teen-angst is just too much to bear.

not that i think bright eyes music is too bad - what i heard was ok - but there's emotional music (like electro shock blues by eels) and there's melodramatic music which is just silly. why try to sing like you're about to burst out crying?

and bright eyes 4-track album is awful. and guided by voices are way better and not melodramatic.
