kes is king edwards school. the kes you're thinking of is the film about the boy and the kestral made by ken 'i made bloody 'my name is joe' with the sole intention of torturing bored film studies students just because they thought the subject would be a joke and require no real work, like media studies but a lot less popular' loach.

last year we could have studied east is east or goldfinger. we studied east is east.
