Subject: Why didn't SEF have a mosh ay??? Well...

As SEF didn't have those trully 'hard rockin' riffs and energizing lyrics like 'maggots crawling in my cunt' it was hardly the time or place for a big mosh. Unfortunately they chose to play their more mellow material first and never got round to playing their more energetic stuff (i have this straight from the horses mouth). Also, a mosh does not nescessarilly denote superior live qualities. In the mid 60's Bob Dylan was a live Phonomenon. He sold out the Royal Albert hall two nights in a row in a matter of weeks. However these concerts were despite being exceelent, a calm and chilled experience. If that example is too dated for you here is another one. Recently at Reading Festival I saw a trully amazing show from Mogwai which received high critical acclaim from the music press and from the general public. Yet again however, almost all present simply stood still and allowed the music to wash over them.
So is a mosh that important???
