Subject: My thoughts on WCW

Well, another Nitro has come and gone. Its hard to tell actually they all seem the same anymore. In fact I know I watched it(most of it at least) but honestly nothing really stuck in my mind. Everytime Jarrett or anything nWo came up I think I blacked out. Norman Smiley beating on 3-Count is always fun, then again anyone beating on 3-count is GOOD!!!Actually Norm has become pretty entertaining. I thought he was an extremely impressive mat technician when I first saw him. I recall an amazing match against Dean Malenko...ah. those were the days...actual wrestling, actual matches, actual decisive wins! Alas poor wrestling, we knew ye well.
I'm also very , VERY glad to see Lenny and Lodi back...excuse me Idol and Lane, isn't it? Anyway ,they seem a little more like themselves which is wonderful. Lenny Lane has come so far and has so much potential, it was criminal to keep him on the sidelines. And I just ADORE Lodi... I mean who doesn't?
I also admit that I like the Demon. Then again I can't resist a man in make-up. He also has a lot of potential if given a wee nudge. He needs to work on that looming though, he's getting better but he still looks a little nervous about letting himself get too much in character. And connecting him with Crowbar is just too amusing! Devon Storm is Phenominal!(I hope I spelled that right). Anyway he's a fantastic wrestler, with great moves, great mike skills and great character. Hopefully WCW will not screw things up with him like they've done so often these days with others.
Those were the only memorable points to Nitro for me which is really sad. I used to be glued to my set whenever they were on and considered it an unpardonable offense to miss a show for any reason. Now I tape it out of habit and fnd myself just not able to work up a lot of enthusiasm. Let's hope that something good happens soon, for WCW's sake and our own.
