Dear W.H.,

Abstract morality? And here I thought we were talking about the definition of Good Government, and how it may be brought into existence.

As to "decisions being made" -- you still have not suggested to me a principle on which to base your notion that the majority ought to be the decision maker without the explicit consent of the minority. If a law "needs" to be made, and this "need" is known to all, then what makes you think the minority will not give its consent? Will not the minority desire the protection of this "needed" piece of legislation?

I think this issue is worth more consideration than you seem willing to give it.

Surely you and your colleagues in the democratic movement have some readily available principle to which you may refer when pressed.
