Subject: It was a few days after the dance that she finally built up the nerve to come and see him. She owed him that much, she couldn't lie to him, and she wanted him to hear it from her before he heard it from anyone else. She knew that if he started seeing someone else she would rather hear it from him rather than Hailey or whoever. She knocked on the back door gently- before she would have just marched right in, but she didn't think it was right to do that now. She'd changed out of her stable gear and was in a pair of jeans with a hoodie over it, her blonde curls tied back in a simple ponytail, looking homely and girl-next-doorish.

  • He was in the kitchen with Mary, getting himself some toast and he heard the knock on the door near the kitchen area. Not expecting any guests, he shrugged and padded towards the door, letting a small smile cross his features when he saw her and pulling the door open for her. "hey Lacey... C'mon in."
