Subject: To be honest, the whole horse purchase was none of his doing - his mother had taken to this girl like a duck takes to water and wanted to provide for her - the same way he felt. Since Spencer had arrived, although he wasn't an exceptionally horsey person, he had managed to take roll after roll of photos of the two of them together - at their shows where he hung out dutifully (though it wasn't much of a duty) to take shots of her, to candid moments that are so rarely seen let alone caught on film between a horse and rider. Right now, he was coming down from the house, and couldn't resist snapping a shot of the scene laid out before him - the rolling field, the ancient oak tree and a partnership.. He took ten or twelve photos without announcing himself before he made it down to the paddock, leaning over the wooden fencing with a grin. "Hey.."

  • The black gelding lifted his head and snorted a little at the interuption, before dropping his head again to graze. Lacey glanced up at him and grinned gently, leaning up on her elbows "Hey you... coming to join us?" She tipped her head for him , arching a brow softly. She had hated him taking photos of her at first- but now she barely noticed. Her canery yellow jods had been exchanged for an old pair of denim shorts that had once been jeans that her legs had grown to long for, a bright blue tank hugging her slender form. Much to her embarrasment Liza had kitted her out in full show gear, show helmet and tack for the events- and she even had her own team colours with hers and spencers names stiched into everything in elegant script. She was immensly happy in this life though... and she appreciated him and his family so much. (NT) -- Lacey, 09:39:36 08/08/06 Tue
