• Glad to have her out of the hospital was an understatement - he was thrilled, and bringing her to the barn gave him even more joy, if it was possible. He helped her along, sensing her excitement as she heard the horses talking to her - as though they knew the second she'd stepped foot on the property. It brought a smile to his lips as he brought her around to Spencer's stall where he had his head hanging out over the stall door in anticipation of a visitor as soon as he heard the sliding barn door open and their footsteps within.   • He smiled as he watched the two interacting - it was obvious that the colt loved her just as much as Ryan himself did, and it warmed his heart. "I told you he'd be fine." He approached the door and reached out to rub Spencer's forehead - the horse had taken a bit more interest in him since he'd been visiting him everyday, willing him to heal quick and sound so that Lacey had a reason to keep going. • Lacey laughed at that and reached for the bag of apples she'd brought along that Ryan was carrying for her- one for each or them then an extra couple for her favourite three ponies. She gave Spencer a final kiss before moving down the block- feeding each of the horses an apple- though there were only twelve in this block she paused by Bella's stable and fed her an apple and an extra one for the foal, commenting playfully to Ryan that she was eating for two now- and giving the girl a good glance over, taking in her huge belly with an excited grin "Wont be too long now.... I so hope the baby is a palomino coloured... a filly would be so cute..." Bella was palomino and Pablo was a chestnut and white coloured warmblood, so she had her fingers crossed. • He nodded and stood along with her at Bella's head, reaching out to stroke her forehead in much the same manner he had with Spencer. He had spent more time in this barn in the last month than he had probably in his entire life combined. He smiled and peeked around Bella's side to her enormous stomach. "Yet another reason to keep it, eh?" Though they didn't sell publically, and mostly just purchased at this point as it was a growing farm. "I bet she'll be glad to be rid of it. • Lacey grinned a little. It was well known that she desperately wanted to keep the baby if it was a filly. If it was a colt it would be gelded and possibly sold on after they had produced it- as they would get a hell of a lot more money for it that way at very little cost to them- there was a huge market in jumpers for Geldings with Pablo's lines- since his lines bled through some of the most successful showjumpers and dressage horses in the world. • He agreed, continuing to scratch under the mare's jaw as she stretched her neck out, encouraging him, bringing a grin and a soft laugh to his lips. "She's definitely the ... mothering type. Lacey cocked glanced over tot he indoor arena that was being finished off and was pleased to see it almost finished "It'll be done by the time I'm able to ride again..." she headed to where Pablo stood tossing his head impatiently over the stable door, whinneying loudly at the human company. He kept a safe distance from the stallion - not necessarily scared, just not so... driven to be friends with him. "Right... this is the time of year that most normal people take a break anyways. Of course.. the horse crazy ones are another thing altogether." • She laughed softly at his explanation, rolling her eyes at him playfully as she let him pull her back into him carefully, mindful of her shoulder. It annoyed her having one arm in a sling. Jackie had had to help her dress herself more than once already, and lacey felt awful for being such a burdan. "At least the winter season is over... no shows" She wasn;t so bothered about missing them for herself- but she represented Eliza and the Lowell showteam would be lagging if she was missing shows. He punctuated his word with another kiss to her temple, ever mindful of her injury, and then looked back at Pablo - it never failed to amaze him, their relationship with horses - women and horses, specifically, and he knew his mother and Lacey were not the only ones affected because when he tagged along to shows, he saw a lot of the same thing going on - except not that many boyfriends tagging along and helping out. He wanted to learn what he could so he could support what was obviously her love - regardless of whether he had any passion for horses or not. She loved the thrill of competing- she loved showing spencer off and the leap of both their hearts over every fence... she only hoped he'd bounce back to full form. I know."He laughed a little bit - the colt was known for being vocal and he had experienced it while she had been gone - he supposed it wasn't so much talking to Ryan himself, but asking after Lacey - or that's what he imagined anyways.
