Subject: Fun with PK's .. the ongoing saga of last nights attack upon Jude

First off I'll join Jude's appreciation of the support shown by the guild in the quick response to her murder last night. It was quite an impressive display of Guild support.
One of the things about being a member of a guild is the fact that your actions reflect upon the entire guild. So it is with the PK who attacked Jude last night. I was able to track down their guild message board and have followed up with a posting there which was received quite well by their members.
They are outraged at the actions of their member who attacked her and are offering to make things right. If you're interested in following the dramatic scenario you can find their message board at the link provided at the end of this message. I have posted there under the name of Galen, which is the character I was on during the encounter.
I have contacted their representative via private messagenger with the following statement:

"Greetings. I am sorry we meet under such dire circumstances, yet am glad to see your concern over this matter. It is indeed sad when a tainted guild member tarnishes the reputation of its guild and causes dissention within its ranks.
Pk's are an active threat within our lands, so the act of being attacked and killed is part of our way of life, as is the retribution that is returned from the act.
Indeed the people attacked did welcome your mate and acknowledge their inexperience in the ways of our realm and it provided a sour taste as I had just sold that house to one of the person's killed.
My post reflected my anger I'm sure, and I was happy to see your quick response. I would happily agree to have you deal with your own in manners that you deem applicable.
I simply ask for public apology to those attacked (which I feel you have already provided in your quick response), and a sum of $20,000 gp paid in the form of two bank checks of 10k each so the murdered people can restock their looted possessions and compensate them for time lost within the realm. Upon receipt of these checks I will be happy to post a rebuttal upon your guild board acknowledging your honorable intent to make things right and serve justice. I will also recant our KOS policy upon your guild members and ensure no retaliation from this act.
