I agree Sol, power scrolls will not be able to be obtained without organized tactics. From what's I've seen and read so far it will take a party with a minium of 5-6 players to beat the champions and get the scrolls. The time frame is 2-4 hours to get the scrolls, so keep that in mind as well. I usually dont' count on the server saving after 3:30 am so that give us a start time of 11pm at the latest (using CST in my thought process here)

Party member organziation -- like the old days of D&D it'll be important what char types we bring along. If anyone has an alchemist that's also a fighter that would rock - give us some back up for pots. Champion spawns are hugh and tuff, the ability to do damage from a distance will be needed. Archers and Mages will fill this need well. Not sure how tamers will fare, if you plan on using one make sure you can survive if your pet dies. Archers should bring some powerful heavy crossbows also to deal out heavy damage. Healers can help us save on regs also.

When someone dies that's a good oppourtunity for a supply run. They can return with another char (I believe, might have to have second account to do that - I'll test it on the test shard tonite)and bring any supplies the party needs with them. If they don't have another good char to return with then we'll still be there 30 mins later. When you die all supplies stay on you and all gold stays on the bones .. so any gold will have to be carried out through the dungeon entrances. Anything else can be carried out via a quick dirt nap. With this in mind (keeping all supplies upon death and the length of time necessary remember to stock up very heavily on necessary supplies)

Might also be a good idea to designate a couple of peeps to do supply runs if all is going well. They could go as a team to increase their chances of making it out and back alive.

Good point on territorial tactics, I'm thinking any 'lone' players that wander across us in a spawn spot will most likely be spies or lone theives/pk types. It's well known that hunting these spawns require a group for success. I'd even be wary about letting them join us. (sorry, my Feluccian paranoia showing there).

Also good point on assigning everyone a duty, (i.e. pk attack squad, designated healers, ect) Perhaps a designated couple of peeps to meet up with one's who die and are returning to the spawn as well?

Good point on karma loss, don't bring a char who you'll be upset with if they lose karma. Deaths WILL happen, There will be occassions when it will be necessary to go grey protecting and/or defending your party members. You might even find it necessary to rack up a murder count in some situations.

That's all I've got for now .. when I get to work I'll post a link to some Champion Spawn Maps I found that show all Champion spawn locations and all dungeon teleporter locations.

I look forward to Power Scroll Hunts, these are gonna be a complete blast and when we get the scrolls it will be quite an accomplishment in my opinion.
