Subject: UO : Lord Blackthorn's Revenge

The future expansion of UO has just been announced, and while real details are sketchy, I can pass on a few things:

*Ilshenar will be accessable with the 2D client
*An ongoing story (already begun with the scenarios) about Lord Blackthorne trying to take over Britannia. Cities may stand or fall depending on player defense
*30 new monsters/characters created by comic book artist Todd McFarlane, with a comic book tie-in and action figures too (this one's for the kids hehehe)
*The virtue system (already been announced and in development)
*30 new craftable items
*2D client has already begun to be changed to be made easier to upgrade with new art, etc...previously, as you probably know, it was very difficult to add new art to the 2D client.

There you have it...looks like the Runic Knights might have plenty to do as this story unfolds :)
