I know a lot of you have taken +5 stat with AoS gift or are working new characters. There is an easy way to gain stats almost immediately, capped at 12 pts per day. Go to a moongate, use arms lore, (make sure it is set to gain and stats you want are set to gain), go to a different gate, rinse and repeat. If you're arms lore is low you should get a stat increase each time. When you are done set arms lore to drop again. Arms lore will raise any stat. I did it for dex and gained my 5 pts from 5 uses of arms lore at five different gates.
