Subject: Position Vacant - Re-listed

We have re-opened our position for a groom due to a change in our relocation plans and health problems being worked out. We are looking for an enthusiastic young person wanting to learn more about eventing/showjumping/dressage. We currently have a stable of 10 eventers ranging from green ex-racers to more experienced fiery competitors. You must be able to ride! The position will be live-in, initially in main house with us, but eventually into own seperate quarters. Prefer drivers licence but P or L plater would be considered. Prefer person doesn't have own horse at this stage, but would consider one if necessary. There will be opportunity to attend schools and compete. Must be willing to also undertake some office and domestic duties. Person will receive training in office procedures and bookkeeping. Would be very interested in something thinking of undertaking the Equine Trainieship. This is not a glory position; duties will involve cleaning up after horses, maintence of gear and horses, feeding, exercising, etc. There will be frequent weekend work with day(s) off during week, and travel to events.
