Hi in response to your thoughts, we all seek to gain mastery over ourselves and situations that we find our selves in. I have trained some BJJ with another sifu and we have set about trying to apply it in real fight situations. Let me say it is extremely hard to apply when you are hot and sweaty. I do not believe it should become part of Wing chun but if it strengthens you as a fighter and reinforces your wingchun , then don't over look it. By doing Bjj you also learn how to fight it. The trouble with comparisons is that if your not prepared to go hard and worry about hurting people they walk away thinking your style is weak. Wing Chun is amazing in its depths it has an answer for everything just look.
