Subject: what happened to the east county crew and Country Road

Hi guys I hope you country road racers check this board once in a while. As most of you know I have been away taking care of family business and now I am finally home. The first thing i did was check out the countryroad message board to my surprise is GONE. I haven't had a chance to drive by the road itself but now I'm scared. Is it still there? Are the races still going off? Man how i long for the good old days i mean way back when Rico and GK first invited me out. I dont see much activity on this board anymore. wow whats this world coming to? some of you CR guys wanna come by the Valley and I will show you a good time with some downhome good ol street racing. El Centro Style. C'mon you putos. lets do some racing!!!

I case you hadnt heard the wild fires of 2004 had done a numer to Gary's property and he just rebuilt and moved back in permanently LAST MONTH. now the new wildfires going on right now have him evacuted from his place again... he may have lost his house again. country road was on and off for the past couple years but hasnt really been the same as the good ol days. it still hits once in a while but you have to be in the know. who knows what the future will be now.

Happy to report that gk'S house survived thanks to the awesome firefighters and a few crazy ass neighbors who stayed behind to fight the fires. after learning a lesson from 2004 gary installed a cool sprinkler system that draws water from his swimming pool and floods his entire house with water every 10 min unless otherwise prompted by remote computer control. damn thats high tech. if you really want to race that bad, street racing is back and hitting pretty hard. yep you heard right. cops have been exceptionally cool and just told people to "get lost" instead of mercilessly busting people.
