Quite honestly my Toyota has held up pretty well as my daily driver. I put that sucker thru the ringer every day too. i paid $300 for it 5 years ago and have never had to replace any major parts on it besides the master cylinder. it finally hit 200,000 mi yesterday. So they do make good daily transpo cars I can vouch for that.
