When she didn't return for a while though, he started to worry a little more, and slipped away from the kids for a moment to head upstairs to check on her. He had been just about to call out her name when he spotted her sleeping, and so just smiled ever-so-slightly and grabbed the bag for the kids, pausing to kiss Gabby's cheek softly before heading back downstairs. Just letting her sleep, he waited with the kids until his mother arrived, and then said quick goodbyes - he imagined Gabby would be a little upset that she didn't get to say goodbye to them, but he really didn't want to wake her, and the kids were excited enough that they weren't too concerned... -- ....Beach House...

She woke up to a sharp pain her back, making her gasp a little, wincing as she shifted in the bed.
