The man was a godson, that was really the only way she could describe him. He saved her from losing her mind nearly every morning of their lives. The kids were up way to early, she was seriously considering giving them all nyquill at night from now on, at least that was her thought as she pulled the blanket over her head when they started asking to go outside. But then, there was Kaleb, kissing her bare shoulder and coaxing her out of bed, helping her get them all ready and settled and then taking them off so she could have a few minutes of piece and quiet before the day really began. She took about forty five minutes to eat something herself, take a shower, clean up and then get ready before she went down the boardwalk to meet up with her little family. A small smile played on her lips as she gazed at him thoughtfully from where she was approaching. He looked so good with her kids, so natural playing frisbee with the older ones and having Dakota on his hip. It amazed her that he hadn't always been such a family man, that he had been a wanderer - he honestly did seem happy here. With a soft smile, she pursed her lips and let out a playful wolf whistle, catching his attention and waving. It really was a good life they had together and even if there were an occasional stumbling block or two - she was happy with him, more so than she had ever been in her life really.
