He snorts loudly, then steps up to Mercury. "Mercury...I've left Midnight Mountains forever, I can't go back there with Dusk. Can I stay here?" He catches sight of Cobweb and quickly looks away, eyes averted sorrowfully. Quickly he regains his hard exterior, galloping nearly out of sight, where he can think.
