I have been and continue to be very ill. I have diabetes and it has taken a real turn for the worse. I have the choice of suffering through the pain or taking pills that help with the pain but dull the senses. It takes all my strength to get through work every day; writing at the moment - my guilty pleasure - is impossible. The nurse taking care of me says that the wounds are healing, but with a compromised immune system, it is a slow, slow process. I hope that I will soon heal enough to begin to write again. Thanks for your concern. It means a lot to me.
