Really cute matching girl's tee shirts and doll tee shirts plus other new, authentic outfits for Bitty Baby and American Girl dolls make great gifts for your pageant princess. I also have several talent or dress-up outfits for preschoolers or young elementary age girls. I just added a few pieces of fashionable jewelry to my pageant store including a very dramatic Vera Wang necklace. Check it out. Please visit my eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/Germaine2626s-Great-Gifts Add me as a favorite seller as I have about a dozen more American Girl items, a dozen more costumes and a few new pieces of jewelry to list for sale in the next few weeks. In case the link doesn't work my store is Germaine2626s Great Gifts. Thanks.

Subject: American Spirit Pageants Now Accepting State Delegate Applications

Date Posted: 08:15:43 06/30/11 Thu

<p>American Spirit Pageants is a wonderful system that allows young women an opportunity to showcase themselves, network with other people and give back to their community all at the same time. This year we are hoping to have as many state pageants as possible. However, we are accepting “At large” Delegate applications for each state until a state director has been selected and a state pageant scheduled. To determine if a state pageant has been scheduled for your state visit <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/state-links/">http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/state-links/</a> and click on your state. If there is a state pageant scheduled it will be posted there and you will need to compete in the state pageant and win in order to compete at our national pageant. If there is no state pageant yet scheduled you may apply for an “At large” berth by going to <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/delegate-application/">http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/delegate-application/</a> and filling out the application.</p> <p>There are four divisions in each state (Teen Miss, Miss, Ms. and Mrs.) which will compete at the national pageant.</p> <p>The national American Spirit Pageant will be held April 4-7, 2012 at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. All state delegates (state pageant winners and “At Large” selectees) will participate in a number of events and photo opportunities. ASP Queens shall be expected to make appearances on behalf of their state for their full reign. ASP is the only national pageant system that incorporates fundraising into the competition.</p> <p>Please feel free to apply online right away at <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.americanspiritpageants.com">americanspiritpageants.com</a> or call National Director, Dennis VanDerGinst, at 888-801-8855 for more information.</p>

Subject: American Spirit Pageants is Now Accepting State Director Applications

<p>American Spirit Pageants is now taking applications for state directorships. Now is your chance to direct your own pageant! Franchise agreements under the system are leased for between $2500 and $5000 a year, depending upon the size of the state. Once the franchise is secured the director takes on the rights and responsibilities for directing four separate divisions in his or her state pageant. The divisions include “Miss Teen”, “Miss”, “Ms.” and “Mrs.” The competition for all four divisions is held during the same pageant weekend. In some larger states the director may consider breaking the pageant into two separate weekends. The bottom line, however, is that having a number of divisions in one pageant makes this a real money making opportunity. American Spirit Pageants provides the outline and guidance to make each state pageant successful. It also provides marketing support, including a state pageant website and online marketing. Further, ASP provides a great national pageant experience.</p> <p><a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.americanspiritpageants.com">American Spirit Pageants</a> is the only national system that includes charitable fundraising as part of the judged competition (along with swimwear, evening gown and interview). Funds raised this year go to the HAVlife Foundation, which creates opportunities for “at risk” children to participate in arts and athletic programs. Last year, the pageant’s philanthropic twist attracted a number of celebrities as judges and performers. It was emceed by television and film personality, Mario Lopez. Nearly three thousand people attended the Finals. On the heels of such success, ASP is stepping things up another notch. The next national competition will be held at the Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. Delegates to the national competition will be selected from the various state pageants.</p> <p>To learn more about American Spirit Pageants or to apply to become a state director you can visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/state-directorship-info/state-directorship-application/">http://www.americanspiritpageants.com/state-directorship-info/state-directorship-application/</a></p> or call 1-888-801-8855.

Although varicose veins certainly lack popularity -- they are right down there with cellulite for the least desirable bodily attribute -- they are actually quite "popular" in that a great many people have them.Up to 30 million Americans have these ropey, bulging veins, usually on the legs. Women age 30 and older are most commonly affected, but no one is immune. Even Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones "can't get no satisfaction" -- he reportedly has calves crisscrossed by them. There are things you can do to reduce them:
Do regular exercise. Walking, running, cycling & swimming keep blood vessels healthy.
Stick to a high-fibre & low-salt diet. Kick off the high heels. Avoid tight-fitting clothings or undergarments that restrict blood flow at the waist, groin & legs (e.g. girdles, stockings & socks). If elastic stockings are recommended, wear them before getting out of bed in the morning. Don't leave legs crossed or bent for a long period. If work requires prolonged standing or sitting, move & stretch those legs, rotate ankles & wiggle the toes once in a while. Do leg stretching exercises daily. Raise legs above the level of the heart whenever possible. Rest those legs on pillows while sleeping. Stop smoking Although varicose veins aren't usually considered a significant health problem, they can make life miserable. "Varicose veins shouldn't be viewed as only a cosmetic concern," said Dr. Alan Hirsch, a specialist in vascular medicine at the University of Minnesota. Often, the discomfort over the veins' appearance is equalled by the aching pain they can cause, particularly after a long day of sitting or standing. In addition, the veins may signal a higher risk for other more serious blood vessel disorders. visit: http://www.nikhar-e-arab.com/varicoseveins.html

Apply hand lotion and begin to massage the palm of your hand with the thumb of your other hand. This will help to circulate the blood. Work your way over the remainder of the hand and then repeat giving equal time to the other hand. Before color is applied to nails, they must be cleaned and the easiest way to do this is with an orange stick that has been wrapped with cotton. Dip into nail polish remover and then rub over the surface of the nail. Check the nail for any creamy residue. When none remains, your nails will be ready for polishing. Time for color. Pick up a small amount of polish on your brush and paint one stroke down the center of your nail. Your brush should hold just enough color to accomplish this. Stroke the sides of the nail and you are done. The nail should be completely colored in three strokes. Allow to set for a minute or so before applying the second coat. Wait until polish is set (dry to the touch) and then apply the top coat. Don't skip this step as it not only adds life to your manicure, it will protect your nails as well. Sanitize all of your equipment with alcohol and when they are dry, store them away until the next manicure. Nail Tips: Nail polish can be stored in the fridge. If your nail polish is too thick, try thinning with a polish thinner. To prevent the cap from sticking, coat it with a little Vaseline to prevent this from happening. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/nailcare.html

Shake your Body!
Every day find new ways to move your body. Use the stairs rather than an escalator or elevator. Walk your dog (or a neighbours' dog if you don't have one!) , chase your kids, play ball with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute cardiovascular class or body pump or kickboxing. Move more and feel better!
Cut the Fat
Don't eat the obvious fat in your diet such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats. Eat dairy products like cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts and even then in their low fat verions. Most are available in lower fat versions.
Reduce Stress
Stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' image of smokers. Find ways to quit smoking hypnosis, support groups and even prescription medicine such as Zyban is available to help you.
Reduce your exposure to Pollution
Not everyone can live in a smog-free environment, but we can all avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning where air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution deterrent. If you ride a bicycle in traffic, where a small pollution mask over your mouth and nose.

Flossing and brushing your teeth daily can make your RealAge as much as 6.4 years younger. These studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. This sitewill help you get ready to leave your home country and make a new life in Canada. It was written especially for newcomers. It tells you what documents you will need to bring, what to expect in the first few days and weeks, how to find a place to live, get a Social Insurance Number and a healthcare card, and find a job. It also explains what services you can expect to receive from the immigrant-serving organizations across Canada. You will also find useful information about Canada's geography, history, government and way of life, and how to become a Canadian citizen. You can either read this site from cover to cover, or one section at a time, depending on what you need to know. If you have access to the Internet, you can do more research before you leave for Canada by visiting the Web sites listed. A Newcomer's Introduction to Canada was written to give you helpful information for planning ahead, but it is not a detailed guide. When you arrive in Canada, you will be recieved a book called Welcome to Canada: What You Should Know, from the Government of Canada It contains specific information on all the practical aspects of living in Canada. visit: http://settlement_in_canada.sitesled.com/synopsis.htm

Subject: How to Eat .(ODO2210)

Limit yourself to no more than two servings of red meat per week. Make sure that no more than a quarter of your calories comes from fat. Cook your own meals at home and avoid eating at restaurants as much as possible. Eat six to eleven servings of complex carbohydrates (fruits and whole grain breads, pasta and cereals), but avoid white flour when possible. Don't go crazy on the protein. Too much doesn't add muscle, contrary to popular belief. It just turns to fat. Boycott mayonnaise and butter (or margarine). Get them out of your refrigerator. Learn to live without them. Don't be afraid to try low or reduced fat versions of your favorite foods. You may actually like them better when you don't feel guilty eating them. Stay away from energy bars, which imply that they will transform you into a fit person. Most of them are loaded with calories. Make your own smoothies. Those made commercially usually contain fattening syrups, but your home-made smoothies (without the gunk) are very healthy. Use all the garlic, oregano, etc. that you want. Eating healthy doesn't mean you can't pack your food with flavor. Pack a sandwich made with whole-grain bread for lunch. Breads with high fibre make you feel fuller than white bread. Get at least 25 grams of fibre every day. Not only does it ward off disease, but it actually blocks the absorption of calories. Don't be fooled by "fat free" labels. Many of these foods contain a lot of sugar, which eventually turns into fat anyway.
Don't fall into the "it's okay to eat chicken" trap. The Crispy Chicken and Filet o' Fish sandwiches at McDonalds each contain more than twice the fat of a McDonald's hamburger. If you need whipped cream, whip up chilled evaporated skim milk - your creation will contain only half a gram of fat per cup. Use extra water in hot cereals to reduce the amount of milk and butter you use. Use seasoned rice vinegar on salads and veggies. It tastes similar to oil and vinegar, but is is fat-free and has very few calories. Cook rice in a mixture of half water, half fruit juice to give it subtle flavor without butter and salt. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/howtoeat.html

One of the most common problems people have with losing weight is pitfalls like eating out. Here are a few ways you can control how much you eat:As soon as your food is served, ask for a box and put half of your meal into it, to take home. Restaurant portions are usually twice the size they should be anyway. Don't ruin a nice, low fat salad with creamy dressing. Go for the vinaigrette or oil and vinegar, and use them sparingly.
Don't let yourself down by getting (or sharing) a dessert. Order some fruit or Jell-O instead, if you must have something sweet. Arrive with a healthy meal in mind and ask for it without opening your menu. This will spare you the pain of looking at an array of temptation. After each bite, put your fork down, and don't pick it up again until you've completely swallowed the last bite. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/eatoutondiet.html

Find ways to quit smoking hypnosis, support groups and even prescription medicine such as Zyban is available to help you.
Reduce your exposure to Pollution
Not everyone can live in a smog-free environment, but we can all avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning where air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution deterrent.
