In many ways I think that Alias is the 'version' of La Femme Nikita that a mainstream network (owned by Disney) would agree to produce.
This, of course, does not mean that I don't enjoy the show. ;) I'm a regular viewer. And my roommate is absolutely Jack Bristow crazy.

Ah, and I see this is where we differ. I've such an insatiable appetite for angst and hurt/comfort (even hurt/no comfort ;) ). Section One's headgames w/ Nikita, and Michael's constant emotional and motivational ambiguity (as well as the entire cast's performances) were pitch perfect.
While it was on, I felt it was the most consistently well-written (and surprising) show on television. It was a total headtrip.
And yes, (wink) it was pretty dark.

But Ph0togs are *all* for darkness. (wicked giggle) ;)
