Subject: Hemecker Touch Witnessed on SciFi "Roar"

Who knew? (Maybe a lot of people--but not me!) SciFi began playing the 1997-cancelled FOX series 'Roar' with Heath Ledger last night (they will be playing all episodes in existence--including previously unaired ones), and who should turn out to be the director but one Mr. H?
Even more interesting was the presence of one Longinus (yes, of the Lance) in the plot, a character who is incredibly aged but does not appear so to everyone (hello, Mme. Boucher!), and a rather familiar camera angle and blocking during one character's death scene (it was rather Maelstrom-esque)--not to mention the Cathain/Conchobar era setting of the entire show.
According to IMDb, it looks like we may have some more Hemecker-directed episodes in the future. (Not to mention the fact that Shawn Cassidy--patron saint of well-made, short-lived series--is an exec. producer.)
I eagerly await.
