Subject: Amazing Grace

My mom was in a serious car accident tonight. Her car fishtailed on Rt. 97 in Danvers, and in order not to hit the oncoming car, she swerved onto a soft shoulder and flipped the car onto its roof. Thank God she was wearing her seatbelt (and thanks to Amy for nagging me so often to do so myself, that I bugged my parents about it too). She was able to open her door, unfasten the belt & get out on her own. The driver who she swerved to avoid - a firefighter on his way in to work. The next car by - a nurse on her way home. Within 2 minutes of the accident, she had 2 firetrucks, 2 cop cruisers, and an ambulance. She didn't even have a scratch on her. The car on the other hand....

What's even more amazing, is when I got home from work & learned of the accident, I immediately knew she had to call my sister, Heather. When we reached her, she asked right away what time mom's accident was. It was right after 5pm, she was on her way home from work. Heather then told us that Anthony, her husband had felt the urge to pray for our family at 5pm.

So when you say your prayers tonight, don't forget those people that God has placed a burden in your heart for or had a sudden thought about. There are no coincidences.

~Michelle
