Subject: Sara's next incarnation?

Okay, not really, but the author who's work I'm currently reading seems to be a bit of a WB fan. I've been devouring J.D. Robb's (Nora Roberts) work, and her character of Eve seems to be very influenced by the lovely Sara. She's a NYC homicide cop, married to a tall, dark, and mysterious hottie. Her personality is very "Sara", and there have been several events in the books that seem WB influenced. One story's plot revolved around a computer virus that turned ordinary people into killers. At one point, Eve's fabulously wealthy hubby gave her a bracelet very like the WB. It was gold rather than silver, but it featured a very large red stone, and was a wide "cuff" style.

Has anyone else read this series? Opinions? (Word of warning if you haven't: J.D. Robb writes terrible sex. She has no business writing it. She's NOT good at it. But the rest of it is awesome.)
