I actually moved to jersey b/c I couldn't afford another year at NYU and Rutgers was a little more obliging with financial aid.

As to a White Christmas being unusual, I honestly don't remember it snowing on Christmas day or Christmas eve anytime in the last ten years. Of course I could be wrong. ;)
