Subject: Charges Dropped (whew!)

Hey all,

I know it's been absolutely FOREVER since I've surfaced, but I'm still here (barely). College is killing me. *sigh* Anyway, I'm in the middle of a two hour break right now, waiting to go to my microbiology lab class at 1:30 and decided to drop by the library and go on the computers to have look around at the "real world" again. LOL Anyway, amongst my searches, I found this exerpt from People magazine (online version) that I guess will be in this weeks magazine about Yancy and the charges that were brought up against her recently:

"DISMISSED: Charges against Yancy Butler, star of the cancelled TNT series "Witchblade," will be dropped if she can avoid trouble for the next year, a New York judge said Monday. Butler, 32, was arrested in January following an altercation at her uncle's home. She completed an in-patient alcohol treatment program, the Associated Press reports."

It doesn't really go into the details, but I figured that maybe some of you who were keeping up w/ it might like to know, if you didn't already, about the outcome.. Anyway, I guess it's back to lurking, now. Later
