Having been lax about making that softball tape, and I do plan on sending it whenever I can manage to get off my butt and make it, I offer a few questions. I couldn't keep it to two, but you can pick the ones you like best. ;)

1. What was Jake's hidden agenda? We know he was FBI posing as a rookie cop, but was there more to it than that? Was he intended to turn bad in season 3 by betraying Sara even further? Did he, as I suspect he might have, have connections to the Vatican?

2. Did Ian kill Aras? His reference to death in Season one was "far far away" and he spoke of Aras in the same manner in Season two, leading me to believe she was dead.

3. Was it the intention of the writers to romantically involve Sara and Ian in season 3? Eric Etebari had been quoted as saying that in season three, Ian would become "the lover."

4. Where did the Witchblade truly originate? We were told in Season one by Elizabeth Bronte that it was from a branch ripped from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Was this just her perspective as a Christian? Would a wielder who was of a different religion given a different answer? We were shown clips of a meteorite falling to earth during a WB vision in Season 1. Is that the true origin?

5. Who is Lazar and what is his part in the mythos of the WB? We were told by Kenneth Irons in Season one something along the lines of, "His name is Lazar, I'll tell you more about him later," but we never did hear the rest of Lazar's story.

6. Were Sara and Ian related? I personally don't believe that to be the case, given Irons penchant for twisting the truth, but the topic has been hotly debated and I'd like to hear what the writers intended.

7. Were Sara and Gabe related? The actors portraying them bore a strong resemblance to each other. Was that an accident or done on purpose by the casting director to indicate relation?

8. Was Ian's ring intended to be Excalibur as in the comic?

9. Did Danny and Sara ever have a relationship that was more than just partners? Maybe before he was married? There were a few instances in Season one especially where I wondered if Sara had been "the other woman" at some time.

10. The armor that we came to associate with Ian was on Irons in Season two. Was that just a budget thing or was it meant to indicate that Irons was indeed Ian's biological father and was he (given that armor was a familial thing)? Since we saw Ian in a WB vision in that armor in Season one, with a wielder that appeared to be Jeanne d'Arc, are we to believe that Ian has been "re-incarnated" (for lack of a better word) through the ages much as Sara has been the same person as all the other wielders?

11. What was the true nature of the relationship between Ian and Irons? Were they father and son? If not, what kept Ian in service to Irons and how did he wind up in that position in the first place? There were a great deal of sado-masochistic overtones to the relationships (even moreso in the comic), there has to be something that explains why Ian would stay through years of use and misuse. Was it something akin to Stockholm syndrome or did Irons have something else to keep Ian beholden to him?

There. Those are my questions....well at least all I could think of with only one cup of coffee down my throat.

Hope that helps :) Feel free to use any/all of them as you see fit.

Beck
