Hmmmm....trying to envision Ian singing "Daydream Believer" (snorting is ensuing.) Now all I can think of is the guys dressed up for Halloween as the Monkeys - amd doing the Monkey walk. If Ian is Davey then Irons would have to be Mike, the serious one. Jake would be Peter, the cute ditzy blond. But who would be Mickey?? Maybe MV Ian?

As for dating yourself, you are nuttin' but a spring chicken sweetie. I go back before Davey Jones. I remember Bobbie Sherman and the words to "Here come the Brides."

I thought of Ian as Alice because of his "servant" role. Actually I also realized that Lazar could be the mysterious cousin Oliver.
