Subject: OT -- but VERY important -- "No War With Iraq" petition

I received this about 15 minutes ago -- and I signed it. I do NOT believe that Shrubya should be given sanction by Congress to plunge us into World War III.

Please take a minute to sign this petition (it is huge). It is all we can do to steer this country away from the hideousness of war. I have seen too many photographs here in the archives of the Vietnam war, and heard too many stories from my mother about what war can do. This is not a Cowboy movie as Bush wants us to believe. So many parents will be having their sons/daughters home for Christmas wrapped up in body bags. This is to preserve life or the American way:

NO WAR!!!!!

Iraq posed no initial danger to us (Reagan and Bush Sr. did nothing about it's use of poisonous gas on the Kurds or Iran??) - we must trust the UN, and learn how to take care of our own people in this country.

Where is Osama Bin Laden now? What about the "war on terrorism?" What about all those people who can barely feed their families? Do we hear anymore about how Bush gave $43 million dollars to the Taliban prior to 9/11, or that this has to do with controlling Iraq, which has the second largest oil supply in the world - oil, oil oil, oil!!! Not "democracy", but oil.
