Subject: Renee Email

Hello Everyone (Thanks Beck for reminding me to post this message here),

I'm sorry to have to share this news via email; However, Renee passed away in May. She lost a very long struggle with Bone Cancer. I know she was very restful and happy with her accomplishments in life as she left us. She was not in any pain. She went to sleep with Jo and passed in the night.

I know that all of you were very special to Renee, as she spoke of you often. Please share this email with anyone who is not on this list. I do not have a complete list of email addresses. I do have some small items to ship to some of you on this email distribution at the request
of Renee, so look for those in the future. Honestly, I just have not been able to go into that room and clean it out yet. I’m still in complete denial.

Renee was a very special person in my life, really my closest friend and surrogate sister. I wish you had all had the opportunity to know her as I have over the last 20 years. She was unique, spirited and very evil :) (As you all know).

Jo is well and living with her mother in the Napa area. She just got her license to drive, God help us all. Her mother is doing MUCH better. She has 90% of her mobility back which is an amazing accomplishment.

Nabil returned to Casablanca, but does keep in touch regularly and is planning a trip out here in the fall to visit Jo. The rest of the family is doing well.

I will continue to keep open maliburenee.com. Jo is determined to set up a site there. Donna and Beck are still on the servers - I'm just in the process of moving accounts and email addresses around, so there might be a little service blip. I’ll be slapping up my own site there
are well when my contract with the hosting service I use now is up.
