Because the only ones able to find the Sea Hag are mermaids, and Phoebe is ripe for mermaid-hood, since her heart is already cold because of the heartbreak with Cole.

That's because, as the mermaid informs Piper, Paige, etc, the sea will turn Phoebe's heart even colder, and capture her soul, so she won't want to return. Which happens, of course.

Because Phoebe's column is catching on so much she's turning into a minor celebrity - how that's SO not going to help keep them anonymous could present a problem, I'd think. O'Dell was there to interview Phoebe...which is a small problem, because she has to be in the bathtub, and she's really turned mermaid by then.

I really wish they'd just keep poor Dorian in there as a regular. It's kind of silly to only show him in the credits when he's in the episode - keep him in there all the time, and USE the man already!

Well, Cole's trying to get Phoebe back, by attempting to impress her by being good. She's not buying it. Yet. :) Thing is they really love each other - she does, deeply, or she would've stayed a mermaid. And he's back to being willing to sacrifice his own feelings for her happiness. I don't like him as "just a guy" either, but I want them together.

Actually, I'm starting to like it. I didn't at first, but it's starting to work a little better for her.

FYI, if you miss Charmed on the WB Sunday, you can catch it Tuesday night at 10, unfortunately, on TNT. If you have any more questions about the premiere, just post them.

Btw, if you caught this past episode, I loved the wicked witch asking "who's the greatest witch of all?" question to the mirror, and then Piper showing up behind her. It was great.
