I would imagine "solid news" wouldn't come until something is finalized, if it ever is. Look at the frenzy that took place when some malicious person put out the false rumor that the Sci Fi Channel had bought the series. It's just great to finally be getting at least a ray of hope from someone official. To me, it's not that this news has me convinced the series will sell but that it has helped me not to mentally give up too soon. But I'm just giving an opinion and one of the WCS committee member can answer this much better.
