Dear friends,
I see it as a part of my responsibility to inform all of you about what's
going on in Israel for the past few days. The terror balance of the last
week was: 33 civilians killed and more than 200 seriously wounded in
Jerusalem, Netania and other places. As a result - Israel finally decided to
do what was a must to do 2 years ago - to destroy the infrastructure of the
Palestinian terror. It means - a local war on all territory of Israel.
30,000 reservists are drafted today to permit the Army to accomplish the
mission. If you want to know the details of the military operations in the
region see (www.debka.com)which is an extremely informed site. All regular
police work is practically stopped and the officers, including myself, are
patrolling roads and streets. All vacations are cancelled in the Army and
Police.
As you can see, the European reaction is, as always, anti-israely and
pro-arabic. The further generations of the european citizens will be ashamed
of the today's decisions and actions of their governments.
