I'm sorry to upset a nice girl like you, Katerina, but I'm not sorry for Rita. She should know better by now. If after all these years she still wonders if that message is serious, the message was rightly send. Rita's arrogance, that she thinks she can predict my reactions, is in fact responsible for that message. She should know by now that I would never speak on behalf of you and Todd and certainly not such a message. She should know by now I'm not stupid and that speaking "on behalf" without consent always comes to light. She also should know by now that Todd (like the real man he is) always jumps in front of her to protect her from my vicious attacks. That you thought the message tries to set you and Todd against her is forgivable. That she even considers it is unforgivable

I don't understand anything. Rita is arrogant? I don't see that, may be it only seems to you? What she should know better? What does "container of bananas" mean? Is it an insulting idiom?
