We see a fair amount of them in the beginning as Carey weans the reader over to Imriel's story ( which is haunted by the deeds of Phaedre, Jocelin, and all the rest). Once the story is turned fully over to Imriel, I promise you won't mind! Enjoy!! -- Sassenach Musings
