I noticed a common theme on the Board about States - 'pageant' kids tend to do well with the optionals but everyone is left scratching their heads with the Divisional Titles - Well, it happened to us too! At our first State Pageant (it was very big with 42 girls in my daughters division) my daughter placed in every optional event that she entered - 1 win, 2 first RU, 1 second RU, 1 third RU. But didn't place in the top 5 for divisional - even though she did a great job....what's up with that?? Any advice or opinions?
