I am so tired of listening to people complain about Sunburst Internationals. IMO, if you didn't have a good time and enjoy yourself, lesson learned, don't do their system again! We personally love them. My daughter is a no name with no fancy pics and she did very well in her division! I don't care to disclose her name or age, I'm sure someone would have hurtful words to say! Grow up and move on! Don't you think there are plenty of parents who worked their butts of on this pageant that put in the time and money, and you are bashing their kid for doing a good job! That is mean! If you can't lose graciously, maybe you need a new hobby!

I personally didnt see bashing of any child... I thought every child there last weekend was great and i thought they are all winners cause there was not a child that didnt go out there and give it their all.... I think the questioning is all about the judges.... specially when you sit and watch them not pay any mind , chit chatting and such and rolling their eyes.. That in it self hurt somebody deeply and was wrong and rude.(And there was more then one mom come up to me and ask if i had noticed the judges not paying any mind) Dont get me wrong we had a great time and made a vacation out of it But i have never been to a pageant including sunburst (which me and hubby both like) that didnt introduce the judges and list at least one of the ties to the pageant world.... We knew it was going to be tough and was just happy to get to be able to go...BUT when you read the paperwork and go by what it says and what the director says in orientation then get you child ready according to the rules then go down to find that what did win was going against the rules it does make it hard to except... but like i said we did enjoy and had fun on stage...Thats all that matters...

I totally agree with you. My daughter does really good also in sb pageants. Accually, she does good at states, international, and nationals.{even though she isn't a big name} But the point is that the people shouldn't just keep going on and on about how bad the pageant is. If they don't like the pageant, they don't like the pageant. You get what I'm sayin'??? PLEASE DON'T START A BASH FROM THIS!!!!

He was a STATE DIVISION winner (KING) three years in a row??? I was told you cannot compete if you currently hold the State title. My daughter won her division at State and is reigning this year and cannot recompete at State until 2005.
BUT, I do love Sunburst regardless. We did go to Nationals this year and she placed in the top 10 of 65. I was happy with Sunburst and would love to do a few on the prelim level again...since we can't compete at State this year.:)
