I agree with you 100%. This is the first time that I can remember that she did not introduce the judges. They looked very young and I dont think they were at all qualified. This is supposed to be an international pageant not a national prelim. Thresea needs to get it together and state in her paperwork what she wants and then stick to it.
It's bad enough that she does not give out scores at least she could introduce the judges and tell their qualifications. IMHO We will not go back and if anyone asks we will tell them not to go either.

WE ARE SOME WHAT NEW TO THE PAGEANT WORLD.......I WAS WONDERING IF IT IS A COMMON THING FOR SUNBURST TO HAVE AGE DIVISIONS DIVIDED INTO A VAST RANGE OF AGES? IE: 6 mo span or 20 mo span.......my daughter was in the 41mo - 4yr group, a 20 mo range, same as two years...what a competition!!! i was happy for the older girls that took most of the winnings they were sharp...however this is what made it very confusing for me........they had professional hair and make-up, modeled, professional composits, "troy and micheal" type photos etc. i felt that i had let my daughter down by not being prepared.......i followed the rules of the book and what i was told in orientation..NO MODELING REQUIRED, PARENTS ARE TO BE ON STAGE AND HOLD ON TO THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES, LITTLE OR NO MAKE-UP, NO BIG HAIR, TAPE PHOTS ON A PIECE OF PAPER FOR COMPOSITE ...IT MADE US LOOK LIKE A JOKE!!....but this is not what the judges picked......a lesson learned i now feel that at this age group is wasting money and letting their child down by not properly preparing them to do their best. if they don't have a coach, professional hair and make -up, taned, etc then they are not on the same playing field as the winners. ie look at last yrs "over all" as well as this years ..obviously the proof is there.also, i found out after the pageant that there was a d.majors there doing their hair and make up...every one should have the same opportunity to prepare ......NOT JUST THE GIRLS THAT ARE "IN THE KNOW" I SAW SOME OF THE SUNBURST DIRECTORS COMENTS ABOVE. THAT TELLS ME THEY READ THES SITE AND I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR THEIR ADVISE AND OPINIONS!!!
FROM A MOM WHO WANTS TO SEE ALL THE GIRLS HAVE THE SAME SHOT AND BE ABLE TO COME HOME KNOWING WE DID OUR VERY BEST WIN OR LOSE.

My Daughter was also in the 42- 4 year old group and i honestly felt ripped off!!!!! when i tell you this you will know who my daughter is... SHE HAS NEVER freaked on stage before and during her swimwear she was doing good looking at the judges and waving but as soon as she hit that middle X it was over she started crying and i was busy paying attention to her i dont know what caused it!!!!! Im not venting cause she came home with nothing BUT if everyone had followed the rules on the paperwork LIKE WE DID we would have been in the same playing field... The judges had their favorites @ the interview and watched only them girls which to me was not fair for all the optionals... I was not the only one that noticed during line ups and individual time that the judges paid attention to them girls... Dont get me wrong it was a tough group... Even a Pageant Dad from one of last years winners told me thats how they do it!!!!!!!!
