Yes, the roof ideas are a good one, maybe you could use Trinsic roof, no one goes there, so would be fine, and if memory serves you can just run off the edge of it.....so if you leave the edge then your out, if you die your out....

Wrong roof is another good one, also the system that it sounds like your trying to make is one of respect, fun wars etc etc, then no teleporter or healer wont be a problem because you just res whowever you just killed.....
