Just to inform you of my adventures gaining Sacrifice. I have not quite achieved knight level, but was close, until I stopped gaining while training for pub 16, now I'm way down again as it has decayed.

I must say, of all the virtues this is the slowest to gain -I have not heard of a 'quick' way of gaining this virtue.

I originally started trying to sacrifice Glorious Lord, and did that twice, but as I also played between times, I found it a problem getting all the way to GL every day, in the limited time I play. The otehr problem was, I could get to gloriuous easily, and then quite often I may die, losing a lot of fame that I would have to regain. So these days, unless I've got a long playing session, I sacrifice as Glorious level.

The best way I have found to gain, is fighting Daemons. They give the most fame for the least difficulty, at least for me as a tamer. Other professions may have a harder time. Mags told me once that he tried as a Mage, but the cost (regs) and time involved trying to get that much fame every day made it not worthwhile for him.

The other thing is, it's quite lucrative to gain, as you are usually fighting big reward creatures, if you survive, but it gets annoying for me stand in the same place for hours to get the required amount of fame.

I guess another avenue for gaining lots of fame these days is the Champion spawn, but don't die, or you lose it all.

Finally, remember you will need to sacrifice Glorious Lord about 20 - 30 times (a guestimate) to achieve Knight of Sacrifice - makes me weep sometimes.
