Note on Vendors in Castle Black

Previously we supplied all sorts of services free to the guild, and stored things in the guild chests in the store room. However, we've found it far too difficult to store enough items in the secure chests we have available and so we are now using vendors instead.

The items on the vendors are still free to guild members for guild use - in the top right chest there's tens of thousands of gold coin sitting piled up... grab the required coin from the chest and go purchase what you want. This way the items remain free for guild use, and we get to "launder" the proceeds from guild hunts from being piles of gold into checks collected off the vendors!

Items such as potion kegs should be placed in the secure storage in the store room. Second chest from the top shall have a designated "keg box". If you find there's an empty keg there, simply grab some gold and purchase a replacement off the vendor, then put the full keg in the storage.

Running things this way means we not only continue to keep guild supplies up, we also have an opportunity to sell excess items to the general public.

All proceeds go back into the guild funds, and the gold is used to buy the resources required for making the guild items, and to provide prizes for upcoming events.

Once again, supporting these vendors is supporting your guild!
