I totally agree, why on earth would they be so stupid as to make it a permanent thing? Then again, these are the same people who tell people whose accounts have been hacked, despite the fact that there accounts have been accessed by IP address's on the other side of the world, that they "Gave" their stuff away, so I wouldn't be holding my breath. If the yew tree's are destroyed by the change, let it be known that I have discovered a "giant" Yew tree in ilshenar, one larger than any near yew, in a safe location, that could be used to worship the olde gods.
That said, I think UO's logic on this is about as good as the logic that I discovered this morning when I got to work. Some moron has burnt a bin out the back. Why? no-one knows. What reason could possible be the idea that sparked the assault on a peaceful bin that just sits there doing nothing to no-one? All I can say is "wake up and take heed of your own stupidity before it's too late!!"
