Historically, warriors and mages were the hero's of the land, the mighty and the rulers. In UO at the moment, the bards and tamers are the powerful, brought on by their ability to make cash and fast. So, what I think they are doing, is levelling it out a bit, to make it so the bards are not the all powerful pvm characters. Sure, it's not so fair on the ppl that have spent forever gaining as bards, but I think it's a reasonable solution to make the characters more even pvm and creating a more balanced gaming society. I know it really pisses me of when I am in a dungeon somewhere training and some dick with a harp runs through makin all my spawn attack each other - this will stop this a bit I think
